Overview

The PLANET VRT-420N Dual WAN VPN Router enables highly secure, high quality performance and, reliable connectivity to the Internet for SMB, SOHO, and home.

WAN Balancing & Failover
The VRT-420N supports 2 WAN Load Balance and Failover, offering non-stop network connectivity. With PPTP server enabled, it provides a secured data connection in the most convenient way from the VRT-420N; and with IPSec server, it performs enterprise level data security. The VRT-420N also features MRTG Monitoring that provides Throughput and Session MRTG graphs within the Graphic User Interface. This allows users to monitor bandwidth usage without difficulty and can easily manage the network with total convenience.

Wireless Mobility
The VRT-420N is an 802.11n compliant Wireless VPN Firewall Router that is designed for sharing Internet connection to user’s LAN and WLAN at the same time. The VRT-420N supports not only AP mode, but also Bridge (AP disable / Repeater AP Enabled), Universal Repeater and WISP modes; thus it offers more flexibility for users to establish their wireless network.

VPN Security
The VRT-420N provides complete data security and privacy for access and exchange of most sensitivity data. The full VPN capability in the VRT-420N including built-in IPSec VPN function with DES / 3DES / AES encryption and MD5 / SHA-1 authentication, PPTP and L2TP server / client mechanism makes the shared connection more secure and flexible.

Powerful Firewall
Furthermore, the VRT-420N integrates user access control and SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection) firewall protection which can offer high efficiency and extensive protection for your network. The Virtual Server and DMZ function enables you to setup the servers in the Intranet and still provide services to the Internet users.
