Warehouse Management System

Overview

Stackque developed by the Dotcom Systems is one of its kind, using the latest technologies and user friendly interfaces. Since its implementation in all the NTDE Warehouses, it has proven its ability to control the movement and storage of materials within a warehouse and process the associated transactions, including Shipping, Receiving, Put away and Picking. The systems also directs for optimized stock issue based on real-time status of goods.

WMS deals with the Receipt, Storage and movement of goods, normally finished goods, to intermediate storage locations or to final customer.

Features:

  • Increase Inventory Accuracy and Availability: Stackque sets up traceable locations for products from the time they’re received until the time they are delivered to the Customer. Products are always in predictable and easily accessible locations with accurate counts.
  • Faster Inventory turns: It can reduce lead times by limiting inventory movement and improving the accuracy of inventory records. As a result, the need for safety stock is reduced, which increases inventory turnover and working capital utilization.
  • Enhance Space Utilization: Proper item slotting and matching of item characteristics to the right locations improves the way space is utilized and can avoid discrepancy while receiving and picking. In addition to reducing safety-stock requirements, it can often increase available warehouse space by more efficiently locating items in relation to receiving, assembly, packing, and shipping points. This increased efficiency can both improve productivity and lower inventory holding costs significantly.
  • Reduce Operational Cost: Information is power. In this case, information about shipments, product locations, product counts, order filling, and shipping drive the system. This directs workers to perform each task more quickly and accurately. The result is lower costs, fewer mistakes and more productive inventory.
  • Reduction in inventory paperwork: Implementation of an Stackque can significantly reduce the paperwork traditionally associated with warehouse operations, as well as ensure timely and accurate flow of inventory and information. Receiving reports pick tickets, move tickets, packing lists, etc., which are typically maintained as hard copies, can all be maintained electronically.
  • Improved Cycle Counting: Can capture relevant data (e.g., frequency of movement, specific locations, etc.) to systematically schedule personnel for cycle counts. Such cycle counts not only can improve the accuracy of inventory records for planning purposes, but also can eliminate or reduce the need for complete, costly physical inventories.
  • Expand Market Opportunities: It lets you do more work and fill more orders. That means more business. It’s also very flexible to let you manage each customer’s unique requirements better. You can take on new challenges and new markets with confidence.
  • Enhanced customer service: Delivers a better level of service because there’s never a question about how much is available and where it’s located. It also delivers better reports to customers about their orders and product availability. By streamlining processes from order to delivery, companies can more accurately determine product availability and realistic delivery dates. It can automatically identify and release back-ordered inventory and also can reduce returns as a result of increased shipment accuracy.
  • Improved labor productivity: Helps optimize material flow, typically by incorporating several inventory picks into one or by "cross docking". Cross docking is a process that routes incoming shipments to the location closest to the outbound shipping dock, thereby reducing warehouse handling.
  • Efficient Multi Packing Job Handing facilities
  • Management Reports: Gathers information at multiple levels of product movement to corporate the management reports. In addition, all data elements can be communicated to the host ERP system for manipulation or report generation. These are few key reports provided:
